Engineering for the transportation of oversized
and heavy-lift cargo is not a service, but
a technical solution to a complex problem.
It transforms an initially impossible-looking
transport into a planned, safe and manageable
process where every step is calculated
and justified
Provision and preparation of temporary bypass routes around obstacles such as power lines, steel gantry structures, «Platon» toll system frames, and overpasses
Reconstruction of railway crossings and overpasses
Roadway pavement modernization with reinforcement of utility crossing points (culverts, underground pipelines and power lines)
Turn radius expansion
Reinforcement and repair of bridge structures
Development of inland waterway transshipment points, including design and construction of temporary jetties for crane and roll-on/roll-off operations
Outfitting and equipping of operational laydown areas for cargo staging and storage within the work zone of a temporary berthing facility
Design and construction of access roads to a temporary berthing facility, engineered for the movement of vehicles with heavy loads, and integrated into the public road network
Benchmark Group has its own specialized fleet
of vehicles designed for transporting oversized
and heavy-lift cargo. Our fleet includes:
Our fleet of crawler cranes with lifting capacities of
130, 150, 180, 220, 260, 320 and 500 tons forms the
basis for our services for lifting, moving, and
installing oversized and heavy-lift industrial equipment
The company offers a complete package of support services:
from crane rental with an operator and handling of
loading/unloading operations to the development and
approval of a lifting operation plan and continuous
ongoing technical control
The company offers comprehensive rail freight solutions
Transportation is carried out using the company's own or
leased fleet of railcars, which includes gondola cars,
covered wagons, flatcars and specialized heavy-duty transporters
We provide transportation services for a wide range of cargo, including:
agricultural and construction machinery, industrial equipment and products
from the manufacturing, mining and processing industries
To handle ultra-heavy loads at industrial sites, the company uses Cometto
MSPE 42T self-propelled modular transporters. This equipment can handle
loads with axle loads of up to 42 tons.
A fleet of 50 axle lines with a combined lifting capacity of 2,400 tons,
equipped with two 331 kW power pack units, enables the company to
complete projects of any complexity.
The company specializes in rigging services, including the precise positioning
and installation of oversized and heavy-lift industrial equipment. These
operations are performed using its own fleet of specialized heavy-lift machinery
Our accumulated experience enables us to successfully execute projects in
key industrial sectors: mechanical engineering, metallurgy, automotive
manufacturing, power generation, as well as in the defense and petrochemical industries
The material and technical base includes: synchronous lift systems, hydraulic
gantries, skidding/track systems, hydraulic jacks, rigging gear, support
structures and guide tracks
With over 17 years of experience providing stevedoring services in the ports of Russia and the CIS, our company's key operating principle is the professional management of capacity and resources. This enables us to guarantee our clients minimized costs and operational risks in cargo handling
The range of services provided includes: Organization of loading and unloading operations at ports, development and approval of the cargo handling work plan, design and manufacture of specialized transport supports (saddles) to ensure cargo integrity at all stages of the logistics cycle, engineering preparation and reinforcement of unprepared port infrastructure for the safe transshipment and temporary storage of cargo
This project involved moving the topside structure of a fixed offshore platform from a semi-submersible vessel to a production company's berth in Kaliningrad. This work was part of the construction of an offshore platform for the production, gathering, metering, and transportation of oil, gas, and condensate to a commercial product processing facility at the D-33 oil field on the Baltic Sea shelf.
The project's uniqueness lay in its complexity: our specialists were tasked with rolling out the cargo with support pedestals, which limited the SPMT's ability to adjust their suspension and steering levels. Furthermore, a complex combination of SPMT into a single convoy was required due to the combination of eight (8) groups of SPMT with only five power units (PPUs).
